Video For Every Lesson
Created especially for young learners of English, Explore Our World Video is fully integrated into the Explore Our World teaching and learning materials, with 15-20 fun-filled minutes of video for each unit.
To make it easy to use in the classroom, every episode of Explore Our World Video is provided in manageable clips and available on Video DVDs as well as Classroom Presentation Tool DVDs, for use with an interactive whiteboard or simply a laptop and projector.
Grammar Support for Every Level
Explore Our World provides many opportunities for additional grammar presentation and practice in every level, to give teachers the flexibility to supplement and support their lessons and meet their students’ needs as necessary.

Professional Development
Dr. Joan Kang Shin, a respected trainer of young learner teachers in over 100 countries, and series editor for Explore Our World, has designed a Professional Development Program that helps teachers improve their classroom practice and get the most out of Explore Our World.
Using videos of real classrooms and interviews with teachers from around the world, the program covers topics relevant to every young learner classroom and is available online as well as on a Video DVD, for individual practice and review, and on a Classroom Presentation Tool DVD, to support teacher trainings and workshops.
Additional Phonics Instruction
Our World Phonics with ABC is a 3-level series plus alphabet book that uses National Geographic content to introduce young learners to the English alphabet and help them learn, practice, and understand the sounds of English and sound/spelling relationships in the English language.
Our World Phonics includes:
- Lessons that introduce students to the letters and sounds of English
- Activities to explore how sounds and letters connect, including listening and repetition, sound-discrimination, letter and word recognition, reading, and writing practice
