National Geographic Learning is proud to announce that Kilimanjaro, part of the Page Turner Reading Library series, has recently been named a winner of the 11th Annual Language Learner Literature Award, in the Adolescent & Adult: Intermediate category.
The Language Learner Literature Awards were established in 2004 by the Extensive Reading Foundation, an unaffiliated, not-for profit organization that supports and promotes extensive reading in language education. The Award aims to support the development of language learner literature in English, and to encourage extensive reading in language education. An international jury chose the winning book in six categories, taking into account the Internet votes and comments of students and teachers around the world.
