Please be informed that Cengage Learning has taken the decision to cease business relationships in the Russian Federation. This decision has been taken by the CEO of Cengage Group, Michael Hansen, and is a direct response to the unprovoked military invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops. We feel very strongly that we cannot continue our operations with Russia whilst this direction is pursued.

We appreciate there are large parts of the Russian population that do not stand behind these actions and recognise that withdrawing our educational business, materials and support will affect many teachers in the Russian Federation. We look forward to a time when we can renew relations and continue our joint work of creating collaborative global citizens once again.

We wish those in Russia who oppose the invasion courage and safety in the face of what will undoubtedly be difficult times ahead and hope the Russian people act for peace.
