OVERVIEW
Today’s students live in a world that is more interconnected than ever before: a world in which they will encounter perspectives and contexts that may differ from their own. As students learn to navigate and better understand their place in the world, the importance of developing an open mind as well as strong communication skills has never been greater. In this presentation, an Executive Editor for National Geographic Learning will explore new perspectives on global competencies, with examples from TED talks and National Geographic.
