OVERVIEW

Differences in L1 and L2 rhetorical styles can leave students feeling confused and insecure about writing in English. Even after receiving explicit instruction, students may still not feel capable of producing the required writing structures on their own with any proficiency. In this session, we will explore a variety of collaborative classroom activities that will help students gain confidence in their writing ability while allowing instructors to collect, read, and grade fewer papers.
